HABITA

GENEL BİLGİLER

Like an ice cube on a hot street corner, Mexico City's Habita exudes a paradoxically austere luxury at the heart of one of the world's most populous cities. Wrapped in a sheath of frosted glass, Habita raised eyebrows in Mexico City when it first opened in 2000 in a 1950s-era building located in one of the city's most fashionable districts. Sandwiched between new and old facades are original balconies and new corridors. Contemporary art is served by the metal Jan Hendrix mural hanging in the reception area. The daylight from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors onto balconies is aesthetically matched by Artemide and Flos lamps. Together, it all creates a spatial clarity that gives travelers tremendous peace of mind.
